Our History

Amucus Brokers was founded by Steve and Roberta Rossouw in July 1997. From the onset they were dead set on proving to the public that honest, sincere Financial Advisors still exist.

At the core of this firm lies the desire to really help their clients with their financial planning – and that includes going the extra mile and recommending products that really benefit them.

It is no secret that the public has a negative view of the financial world and in particular financial advisors. We want to prove to people that Amucus Brokers acts in the best interest of its clients by treating them with empathy and sympathy when necessary, and offering the most professional service possible. We are not only your Brokers in good times, but also in the bad times.

Our Firm

The name ‘Amucus Brokers’ is derived from the Latin word ‘Amicus’ or ‘Amucus’, which means ‘I am your friend’. No other name could describe as accurately how this firm conducts their business.

Amucus Brokers offers a combined 46 years of experience in the insurance industry. With their expertise and desire to go the extra mile for their clients, it is safe to say that you are in good hands.
